How the figures are checked
Every price and rule links to the page it came from and shows the date we last checked it.

We do not estimate or average prices. Each figure is copied from a named clinic's published price list or an official regulator page, stored with its source, the date we checked it and an expiry date. The site currently holds 51 sourced figures: 25 from official bodies and 26 from clinics and a dermatology reference.
Where do the figures come from?
- Prices: published price lists from named clinics. We say which clinic and which suburb, because one clinic's list is not a city average.
- Rules: the regulator's own pages: the TGA, Ahpra, ARPANSA, Queensland Health, Tasmania's Department of Health, the Radiological Council of Western Australia and the ACCC.
- Treatment guidance: DermNet, a dermatologist-edited reference. We show the date of each page we use, including when it is old.
What will this site not publish?
- Names or prices of prescription-only cosmetic injectables. Our injectables guide explains the TGA rule.
- Averages or "typical" prices we cannot trace to a source.
- Testimonials, ratings or before-and-after images.
What happens when sources disagree?
We say so. ARPANSA's national advice and Western Australia's Radiological Council describe WA's laser rules differently, and a clinic's needling schedule is shorter than DermNet's recommended gap. Where that happens we show both and say which one we would rely on, and why.
How do figures stay current?
Every figure has an expiry date: about three months for clinic prices and six months for regulator rules. Before each update we list anything past its date and re-check it at the source. Sale and package prices get shorter expiry dates.
How is the site paid for?
When you ask for quotes, we may pass your request to clinics, and they may pay for that introduction. We also build websites for salons and clinics. Neither changes the prices or rules we publish. The site carries no advertising.
